Amber Teething Necklaces?

I'm sure this has been discussed before, but here it goes again :] Anyone have experience with Amber teething necklaces? DH wanted to try them so we got one. It's pretty if nothing else. I'm hesitant because I've always figured things around a baby's neck is a no no. Just inferring if any of you lovely ladies has any pointers. TIA :]

    Yes DD was a different baby once we got it. Really did help.

    We have one. I haven't seen much of a difference, although she may be drooling a bit less. We take it off for baths and overnight sleeping because I'm a worry wart.
