I did when it was just DD1 and I. It got too crazy trying to coordinate naps once DD2 came along and DD1 quit napping very shortly after that. Now no one naps
As I lay with her to get her to sleep, I generally stay in and nap with her when she does. About half the time I wake up early (after 45 minutes) and get up. But I love napping with her and sometimes wish that the babysitter came at a differen
My DH almost always naps with DS. I almost never do, unless i accidentally fall asleep. I still look forward to his naps though because it gives me uninterrupted time to pay bills or watch something other than Mickey Mouse Clubhouse.
YES!! My son has decided that he wants to wake up every two hours now like a newborn, so I don't get much sleep at night. Nap time is three hours of uninterrupted bliss.
Yes for sure! I take a minimum of an hour to two hour nap every weekend, during the week I'm at work so I'm unable to take a two hour nap, but I definitely would every day if I could. My son naps for 3 hours normally so I have time to relax an

I definitely have some down time. He usually naps for two hours so I spend an hour or so reading, watching TV, and/or bumping. Then another hour doing laundry, straighte
During the week, no. I use nap time to eat lunch, catch up on TV, do housework, make phone calls, etc. On Sundays I often put on a movie while they nap and it's 50/50 whether I'll stay awake or fall asleep. Sadly, today when I really was looking forward t

Ds doesn't nap at home anymore, but if dh is home over the weekend, then I get to nap when dd does. I love napping, so I'll take up any opportunity, even if I'm not that tired.

Yes I do or I try to. Some days I lay down for 30 or 40 minutes and then I get up to do some chores but that 30 or 40 minutes really helps. Last week though I napped for their whole nap because I was so tired. But I do try to get some quiet time when they
Re: Anyone nap while their kids are napping?
I wish I could do this on weekends, but I've never been one to nap. I work full-time, so it's just not something that is part of my world.

I work full time, so those precious 1-2 hours on the weekends are critical for housework, projects, or shopping.
Plus, I'm a terrible napper.
