Did anyone's LO have post viral gastritis?

DS had roseola end of February and was running a 105 fever for a few days. We gave him a lot of Motrin and I think it messed up his stomach. He's been vomiting every few days since. The ped put him on zantac and it seemed to have helped. However he picked up a cold from big brother is is now back to vomiting. Gastro now wants to do an endoscopy. I'm at wits end. Does anyone know anything about this? any experience with zantac especially weaning off it and endoscopies would be helpful. TIA.

    I don't have any experience from a parenting perspective but I do work in the healthcare field.  My first advice would be to lay off the Motrin.  It can be extremely hard on the stomach especially if he's already throwing up.  I would try T

    He's not currently on Motrin he was in February when he had roseola. We havebt given Motrin or Tylenol since.The gastro wanted to reduce his zantac after two weeks in but the vomiting started up again. I don't want him to depend on acid blockers to funct
