LO sleeps with a lightweight cotton muslin blanket (aden & anais) for naps and overnight. He chews and sucks the bejeesus out of them, and they get dragged on the floor, too. We have 8-12 of them, wash them regularly, and rotate them almost nightly, and but some are starting to look pretty gross - yellowed around the corners (where he chews on them). I just pulled some out of the dryer, and didn't think they even looked clean.
Other than putting them out in the sun to dry, which I've tried, any other ideas to make them look fresh again? I don't want to use harsh cleansers, not just cause I try to avoid them, but also because he chews on them

The oxi clean gel stick is my magic trick for stains.
For stinky stuff, like socks and gym clothes, I do a soak in white vinegar regularly. For stuff like white towels, I use chlorine free bleach.
Hopefully some combo of all that will help.
For really stubborn stains I make a paste using dishsoap and oxiclean powder. It gets pretty much eveything out.
If he is going to chew on the corners I would just put them in for an extra rinse to make sure there is minimal soap residue.
Well, I soaked in oxiclean overnight and washed. They're a tad better, but still yellow around the corners. I'm going to try peroxide on the corners where they're stained, and then some time in the sun and see if it helps.
