Breaking out of swaddle

My DD just turned 4 mo and recently started getting her arms out of her swaddle and waking herself up. She's in a halo sleep sack right now. She won't go to sleep unless she's in it and she still has a pretty strong reflex and will wake up unless her arms are held down. We aren't sure what else to do. She was STTN until she started getting out of her swaddle. Any suggestions?

    My DD was the same way.  About 2 weeks ago we put her in the Merlin Magicsuit and she has slept the same amount of time as being swaddled.  It's a little heavy so if it is warm we have put the AC on.  That's the only drawback.  But she

    we're using Merlin's magic sleep suit as well. One advantage it has over another type of swaddle is that it's a lot tougher for them to roll over, so they can use it a lot longer than a swaddle.

    Have you tried swaddling with arms out? Our DS started breaking out and when just started leaving the arms out, I have found it helpful as he will sometimes wake up and put himself back to sleep by sucking on his thumb or fingers

    I use a receiving blanket to swaddle her top half only, and then swaddle in the SwaddleMe. It's worked well for us so far.

    Our baby has been able to get our of lots of swaddles until we started using the miracle blanket with a swaddle me on top. We keep her dressed lightly underneath if its warm, but she has never gotten out of this one.
