Breaking the parenting rules

Today I broke my own parenting rule and I put the baby in the car and drove him around to get him to nap. I am hanging my head in shame. There's nothing wrong with doing that I just don't want to have to do it every time. I just felt 6 hours without a nap was long enough.

  • Sometimes all it takes is one good nap to get baby back to sleeping well. When they get overtired they get into a pattern of short naps / no naps. Then you have to do anything that will work to get them to sleep. Don't worry, it won't build habits. I did
