Wedding Invite Fail

I posted this on Parenting but though it also be appropriate here. Please enjoy!

DH and I get an invite to my bio Dad's wife's son's wedding (so I guess my step brother but I've never really met any of my Dad's wife's family, this is his 3rd marriage). We have never met her son and we got the invite in January for an April wedding (this Saturday). I didn't think there was an RSVP card in the envelope but there was. So it's my bad for not officially RSVPing but I already told my Dad we would be there.

So I'm checking out the card and included is a little note,

"To Whom it may concern: Alcohol is permitted but will not be served. If you would like to drink please fill free to bring your own. PS, as for wedding gifts. They are appreciated but money is preferable."

I copied word for word so those aren't my typos.
