S/O Callie

What comes to mind when you hear the name Callie? How would you classify it? Trendy, timeless, nn, etc. What sibling names do you picture with it? This is a name we had on our list with DD #1 as a nn to Caroline. Now I don't care for Caroline as much but really like Callie just not sure about using it as a first name alone.

DD #1 is Josie (Josephine). Also, what can Callie be a nn for besides Caroline and Callista?

Callie isn't too bad. I would say it's a bit trendy. I love Caroline though, this one is on our list. I think the nn's Callie and Josie sound great together.

Calliope!

Callie is a cute name, but it does sound like a nickname. I think it's versatile and could go with just about any sibling set.

I like Callie. I know from doing Sporcle quizzes that it's really not all that popular. DH's boss has a Callie (not short for anything); for them it's a family name. Personally, I love it as a nn for Calista.

One of my best friends is named Callie (just Callie), so I have great associations with it. She's in her mid-twenties and she's an artsy free-spirit type, so that's the personality I picture with the name. Her sister's name is Grace. She's the only Callie
