Food Allergy

Milk/Soy help

Yesterday, I was told my one month old is allergic to milk/soy.  I am ebf so I need to cut these items out of my diet.  What on earth do you eat for breakfast?  I've looked at all the foods in my pantry and I can't have any (poptarts, cereal, granola bars, egos or bread).  All I've had today is banana  Please help.

  • I eat Honey Nut Cheerios, Raison Brand (Raison Brand Crunch), Oatmeal with brown sugar. Scrambled eggs (just no milk or butter in them). You can also make your own granola bars. Make your own bread. Also some artisian breads can be dairy free. I have R

  • oatmeal, fruits, nuts, eggs. Theres bread out there thats dairy/ soy free. you can have cereal with almond milk.

  • Also, check out the So Delicious brands of yogurts and Tofutti makes a good cream cheese sub. I didn't care for the coconut brand yogurts, but really enjoyed the Amande brand (made from almond milk) but I could only find them at Whole Foods

  • Enjoy life brand chocolate chips, spectrum vegetable shortening make cookies! Also, I like rice milk instead of almond in cereal, but almond in pancakes, coffee, etc even makes good French toast. Back to nature spinach and wheat crackers are good too, w

  • There's a Cascadian Farms granola bar without dairy/soy, & Can't remember who makes the Pumpkin Spice granola bar but thats good too.  I use the Earths Balance Soy Free Butter.  There's a cinnamon bread by Aunt Millies I think thats yummy
