Moving to DE....Need your help please!

Hello ladies -

We will be moving to DE in the next couple of weeks; DH got an offer in Wilmington. I really need your help with re: to

- Safest areas for apartments (all I read is crime crime crime from my little research so far!!!). Need first hand experience from you all on the decent, safe areas to look for housing/apartments up to 1300 for a 2-3br 1+ba

- Best daycare for my babies ( 20- and 4 months old).

Those are my top concerns now.

    His office will be in the 19809 Wilmington area. We would like to be close, at most, 30 mins commute. I don't know how bad the areas around there are. Based on my research, people say the following zip codes are safe: 19808, 19810, 19803, 19702, 19711, 19

  • I would stay away from the Reserve at Forest Gate. A friend of mine lived back in that area and couldn't get out quick enough. Your other three choices are good ones though!
