I posted on here a while back asking for advice because potty training my son was quite challenging. He was great as long as he was naked, but would wear undies for anything.
I finally figured out that the elastic hurts him! It seems so obvious now, but it didn't even occur to me. I bought him Hanna Andersson undies (internet research turned up those as the best for sensitive kids) and a week later I feel pretty good about saying he is potty trained!! Even through quite a bad weel with all of us being sick, he has only had a few accidents and he has gone in public several times! We are also doing a sticker chart and a prize bag, but we'd tried those before with no luck. These undies are great!
Even better, they come in rocket ships! We got 1 pack of trainers and 3 packs of regular undies. He has worn all but the rocket ships because he loves space and so that is his big reward for being accident-free! He is still wearing his night time diapers but we're going to switch out of those probably next weekend.
