Opinions please

We are going to our nephew's wedding in June. H asked his sister several times if kids were going to be invited. She said yes. She said she even talked with the bride and of course kids are welcome (I was really hoping they wouldn't be, so we could go on the vacation we had been saving for). Sine, the kids were welcome and H really wanted to try to see his family I went along with it. We already booked our flight and hotel. I found great deals! About a month ago H was talking with his sister and they changed the time of the wedding from early afternoon to 7pm. She has asked him many times since if she can get us a sitter. He says no every time. We are not comfortable leaving the kids in a place we don't know with people we don't know. I thought she was just trying to be nice and didn't think much about it. Today we get the invite and its only addressed to H and me. Would you ask if this is an oversight? or because at this point what I am I going to do with the kids just leave it alone and assume the kids are welcome?
