Zoloft opinion

I have heard that Zoloft can make panic attacks and insomnia worse for about a month before it starts working. I want to get off paxil and on to Zoloft but i'm a nervous wreck with panic disorder so i'm not sure what to do?  Any feedback appreciated.

  • I just started zoloft 3 days ago so I can't speak for the effects it has after a month but I can say that I am going to start taking it in the morning instead of before bed because it for keep me up. Some people are different though and it makes them slee

    Zoloft always gives me a little bit of insomnia.  When not pregnant, I take a sleep aid, when pregnant I just take it at night.  I've tried other anti-depressants but Zoloft works best for me.
  • Well, psych meds do different things for different people. For some people, it will make your anxiety or depression worse (to the point of suicidal thoughts). If it does that, you should seek help immediately (go to the ER).

  • I was on Zoloft and it helped me a lot. It definitely did not make me feel worse.
