Croup

My neighbors son got croup from our gym. K was up all last night coughing and now starting again. She has has a runny nose but oddly didn't cough in her naps. I'm wondering to myself if she has croup though it doesn't sound like a seal IMO

Does croup mainly hit at night vs just laying down? She's happy etc otherwise just runny nose

    I kind of remember our pedi saying it is usually worse at night.  He did say that cold air will help so if it is still cold enough outside, bundle up dd and go outside with her and see if it helps.

    It was much worse at night with DS. He had a bad cough for a couple days and then in the middle of the night I heard seal noises coming from his room. I didn't notice it as much during the day or for naps, but nighttime and first thing in the morning w
