Convertible Car Seat

Any recommendations for convertible car seats?

I can't decide between the Recaro Proride, the Maxi Cosi, or the Britax Advocate.

I need one for my Chevy Tahoe and one for her dad's truck.  She has to be on the side in his truck because the middle seat isn't deep enough for a car seat so I'd like something with the best side impact protection.  But it also can't be too huge because the front seat will then have to be all the way forward.

I already bought the new Chicco Nextfit and have returned it.  It didn't fit my LO well and was a pain to get her in and out of. 

 Any input in appreciated!

    We have the older version of the Diono Radian and the Graco MySize.

    I have the older version of the radian nd like it a lot. I wouldn't personally choose the current generation of britax seats because they aren't really good for rear facing older children and I prefer my children to ride rear facing as long as possible.

    We just bought the graco headwise 70 and love it so far. Shes much happier in it then the Eddie Bauer one we returned a few weeks ago.

    We have the Graco MySize (clone of the Size4Me & Headwise) and even though it has the tallest shell on the market, it amazingly takes up very little room front to back. I can have it fully extended in my Ford Escape without moving the front seat up ve

    Are there stores near you that you could see them in person? They're all good seats; you'd be best off playing with them, putting them in your car, and putting LO in and out of it, to see what you like best in practice. No review is going to decide that
