So, we're currently TTC baby number two, and we've been going over names for this baby.
Boy names: Erwin is our middle name. It was DH's grandfather's name. I wasn't so big on the sound of it at first, but it's growing on me, and since he was really close to his grandfather and wants to honor him, I'm fully on board. Currently our top three boys' names are Robert, Jonathan, and Luke. Robert flows the best with Erwin, I think, but that's not necessarily ruling the others out.
Girl names: We definitely want Mary as our FN, and are thinking about using a double name.
Our front-runners for a double first name are Mary Fern and Mary Honor. Both of the MNs have personal significance for us. We also like Mary Catherine and Mary Margaret, although those are quite long and we'd probably just call her Mary in that case.
What do you guys think?
Re: Tentative ideas for future baby
Robert Erwin does sound the best, but I like Jonathan better. Jonathan Erwin doesn't sound bad, although it's got a lot of the "n" sound in it. Luke Erwin is a distant third.
Mary Fern is sort of cute. It's unusual.

I agree, Robert Erwin sounds the best.
For girls- I have a soft spot for Mary Margaret. It is Snow White's name on Once Upon a Time (and she is a *great* character by the way), and ever since I heard it I've really liked it. I don't think i
I like both Robert Erwin and Luke Erwin. I think I like Luke better with Felix.
I adore Mary Fern!
I like Luke the best out of your boy choices.
To be honest, I don't like any of the names you paired with Mary. Mary Fern doesn't flow to me, Mary Honor is blech to me, and Mary Catherine and Mary Margaret remind me of the nuns on the movie

I think all the boy names go well with Erwin. I personally like Luke Erwin best but they're all very nice.
I like the name Mary. I really dislike double first names. I like Mary Catherine the best.
