Looking for some stroller advice... among other things :-)

Well it's been about a year since I've posted here and our loss but I found out on April 1st that we are pregnant again.  Estimates are about 8 weeks at this point and we have our first doctors appointment May 7th so will know more then.

Anyway what I really came here for is I'm back in research mode and the main item I am looking at again is a stroller.  We are semi active people yet on the go quite a bit.

About a year ago we were looking at the Bumbleride Flyer and I thought we were set on that however now I am kind of torn between the Baby Jogger City Mini GT, Britax B-Agile, and the BOB Revolution CE

Both my wife and I are short, I'm 5'6" and she's 5'0" and when we do jog we have short strides so I don't think we need a full on jogger.  That said we would like something a bit all-terrain but don't need something full on.

We were looking at the B-Agile and B-Safe Travel system but I keep leaning towards the Baby Jogger GT until I noticed the BOB CE.

Any ideas and input would be greatly appreciated.  Thanks.

  • If you are going to jog then you need a jogger, like the BOB. It has suspension to make the ride smooth. It also has bigger wheels which will help with a smoother ride. The B-agile and the city mini GT are not for jogging.

    I do have a BOB

  • City mini manual states that it is NOT for jogging because it will tip. I believe same would betrrue for GT although could be wrong.

My city mini is nice however I would prefer the front wheels were doubled .... so does not have wheels in tr

  • I have the B-Agile and really like it. It's obviously not for jogging, but it's very lightweight and extremely easy to fold up. Perfect for shopping trips. I wouldn't call it all-terrain by any stretch of the imagination though.

  • I agree with pp, get the b agile because it is smaller and lighter. It is a great stroller and with the b safe car seat, it is a great travel system. I've taken it all over and had no problems.

Later you may want an all terrain or jogger.
  • I could be wrong, but I don't think the B-Agile handlebar is adjustable, where as the GT is (but not the reg city mini).  I'm 5'2" and having an adjustable handlebar is important to me.  I was debating btw the city mini & the GT, and I'm lea

  • I have the city mini Gt, I love the adjustable handle, the handbrake, and more all terrain wheels compared to the regular city mini. It has a smooth ride, but nothing like a bob. We go on walks Dailey, but I wouldn't run with it. Most of all, I love th

We have the B-agile and use the the B-safe car seat with it. We love it! Light, pushes really well, lots of optional equipment, and the handle bar IS adjustable. We have a Subaru Outback and we have plenty of room with the stroller in the back.

  • So my DW and I got to stop into a Buy Buy Baby the other day and really play around with some strollers.  One huge thing I noticed and she did as well is how easy the City Mini GT is to move.  It just takes so little effort compared to the B-Agile.  While the Britax wasn't hard to push the GT was just soooo much easier and effortless.

One thing though I thought about while looking at it in the store.  To help aleviate the issue of a somewhat hard to access basket couldn't you just remove the seat all together while using a car seat with the stroller since that would open up access and the seat wouldn't be used while the child is in the car seat.
