won't keep hair clips in

Addy rarely keeps her hair clips in. I'm really lucky if I get 10 minutes of it being in (like she'd have to be pretty distracted). Many times she is grabbing for it before I even get it in. Her hair is in her eyes and it drives me nuts. I will not cut it. And I'm not a fan of the ponytail type styles while her hair is this short. Suggestions?

    Lucia takes hers out all the time too. I distract her right after it goes in, and sometimes that works for a little while. Other than that I think it's just a phase you have to wait out. The 2.5 year old I nanny keeps hers in now. I don't remember at

    I just keep putting all different kinds of clips in her hair on a daily basis to keep it out of her eyes and to hopefully help her get used to it.  I figure at some point she will just realize that her hair is going to have a clip in it and move on.

    If she has enough hair, you could probably use the little tiny ponytail holders and just put it flatter on the side of her head rather than it sticking straight up.
