I went the the dr today, her heartbeat is 160bpm and i'm 2 centimeters dilated and 50% effaced, I have been haveing contractions on and off today. Looks like I could be a April mommy c:
My Dr won't tell me if I am dilated because a woman can walk around dilated for weeks before the baby comes. That, and I don't want to know to cause false hopes or fears!
Any chance your "contractions" are from the internal?
I'm 2-3 cm dialated and 60% effaced (I'd love to know how she gauged "60%," but whatever). The doctor looked at me and said it's great I have a favorable cervix, but it tells her nothi

I spent four weeks 3 cm. and 80%, during my last pregnancy, until I was induced. And I am not sure what the 160 bpm heart rate has to do with anything.
I've been 1.5 cm dialated and 50 effaced for the past 3 weeks, with lots of contractions. I thought the same thing 3 weeks ago, that I can go any time soon. Unfortunately, I'm still waiting. Its quite frustrating, actually.
Maybe it's just me but I don't get all the "hoping I go soon" stuff from women at 35 weeks, or being frustrated at starting to dilate 3 weeks ago but still having an inside baby when I see your ticker says you are 37 weeks right now. If you go at 35
Re: well may board...
I read a study that says women either are 2 weeks early from their due date, or two weeks late. Interesting little tid-bit.
I think I'm dilated, but I'm not going to tell my husband that otherwise he'll start freaking out lol and who knows really
Ditto. &n

Well damn it I can still be happy, I'm one giant step closer.
Be it if I go into labor tomorrow or 4 weeks from now, I am confident that I will be okay c:
This is what I was thinking when I read this.
