Mushrooms

When I feed LO mushrooms, they come out in exactly the same form as they went in. It looks like he is not chewing or digesting them at all. Is this a problem? Also, is he getting any nutritional benefit from them since they don't seem to break down?

  • Not a concern. They don't have molars so no crushing grinding teeth, no they don't get as much nutrients this way but that's why food at this point should not be their main nutrient source.

    DD is this way with corn. Every time I give her corn it comes out looking the exact same way it went in.
