  I'm about 30 to 45 min from the activity in Watertown but I used to live there. Its super scary. The father of these guys was interviewed and called his older son "a true angel"... disgusting, hope they catch the 2nd guy soon.

  I am about 12 miles away from where all this is going on. We are safe. I am working from home today. It is just so scary.

  I'm working 20 min outside of the city and I know I am safe but my anxiety is through the roof today. Plus I'm so pregnant that the weather which is amazing this morning, very warm, is bothering me.

  My brother is right in that area right now, on lockdown in his apartment, listening to sirens.  I hope that he will continue to be ok, and also that they will catch the guy soon so everyone can leave their homes safely!

  Thoughts and prayers to all of you! It's a scary world to live in! It's amazing that a 19 year old has the ability to put an entire city on lockdown. It's absolutely horrifying. I hope this all ends today <img src="https://community.thebump.com/cs/emoticon

  Thanks. I have cousins on lockdown in Watertown and work upped the security measures I work at a state agency outside of Boston.

  I worked less than one mile from the bombings near the state house and the common on Tremont. I am in CT now but it's crazy thinking about all this happening in such a familiar area.
