I knew I was in labor when...
I had timeable contractions. The first time it was so obvious! With DS1, I was eating breakfast, started having cramps, figured out they were timeable and he was born that night.
This time I just can't tell. My body seems to be doing a lot more practicing. I have had BH for a few weeks, which I never had with DS1, and last night I was woken up by cramps, nausea, bowel movements, and general ickiness. I had my membranes stripped yesterday at 39w4d and had my bloody show this morning. Ugh. I am so impatient this time. I am going to try to time my cramps but I have a feeling this is another false alarm. Lame!
How did you know you were in labor? For STM's, was it different the second or third time around?

1st time I was induced
2nd time, I was on the phone with SIL and she noticed that I would go silent for a little bit, every once in a while. She figured I was in labour, but I was in denial. With in the hour I was sure!
3rd time, I woke up
This time I've been confused! I had strong contractions 3 mins apart for 5 hours and thought for sure it was time. That was Tuesday.
