Hello Maine Ladies! Ohio Momma here planning a vacation to your great state! I was hoping you could give some ideas of things to do with LO. She will be about 17 months when we take our first family vacation in August and I was hoping to have some things to do that she would enjoy as well as hubby and myself! Also, if there are things that are must see/do in general, that would be great to know as well. This is our first time to Maine, my first time to the east coast in general. Thanks in advance!! Im so excited!!

What part of Maine will you be visiting?
There's Old Orchard Beach - very tourist-y lots of little shops and the pier and beach of course, there's outlet shopping in Freeport. West of portland is the Sebago Lake region, much more relaxing, slower paced. There are lots of fun state parks on the coast if you drive up Route 1. If you want to go further north I highly recommend Acadia National Park on Mount Desert Island, as well as Bar Harbor, one of my favorite places.
