day care - stomach viruses

We just had our 3rd stomach virus in 6 months. I know kids get sick a lot when they start day care, but does this seem unusual?  I know that day care is the cause because after the 2nd bug in October (it was REALLY BAD), we pulled him out for 3 months.  He was well the whole time and got a snotty nose right after returning in February.  I can handle the snotty noses, but if he gets another stomach virus in the next 3 months, I'm thinking about taking him somewhere else. But maybe that's just stupid (hate to change things on him without good cause).  I don't have any other issues with the day care.

  • My experience was that my DD2 seemed to not get as severely sick as the rest of us.  I, personally, think it is because she was breastfed so she was getting the antibodies as well as the protection to her stomach/intestines.  So, she was sick ju
