TTC and surrounded by pregnant people

hello! first time poster, long time lurker.   My DH and I have been TTC for roughly a year and a half.  I'm 34 years old so I knew it would be a challenge but I'm tired of being disappointed.  In the past month, I've had 5 people tell me there were expecting!  I'm happy for them but on the inside I'm very sad and frustrated.  

We have started fertility testing and I go in next week to get the results and explore our options.  In the meantime, I've started temping and drinking fertilitea. Really hope it works out naturally!

Anyone else out there surrounded by pregnant people while having difficulty ttc?

    Yep .... 15 months and I work with 5 pregnant people.  Sucks.

    Yes! My SIL, co-worker with a new born, friend with a new born, 2 other friends due in the fall, hairdresser due in May, event vendor due in April.

    Being surrounded by pregnant people when you want to be pregnant is no fun. 

    Temping and charting and knowing you have a teeny bit of control helps get rid of the "I want to get pregnant now, but I'm so helpless" feeling.

    Yes many of my friends are pregnant also. I actually find the pregnancy announcement to be the worst part, and then after that I can process it and be happy to be around them again and not let it bother me. But the day I first hear the announcement I'm

    I know! I'm in my first month TTC, and I'm worried that DH may turn out to be infertile because he has Klippel-Feil Syndrome. I'm perfectly healthy, and his fertility is what I'm worried about.

    It seems like as soon as we set a timeline to TTC, my 40 y/o coworker, cousin, friend and everyone at church announced. I haven't been trying for as long as most on here butt we've waited almost 4 years just to stop bc so it still sucks a little.

    This is the way it works.  Hugs.  The first go around it took me 3 years to get pregnant and a lot of help fertility wise.  We lost our little girl before viability.  It seemed like everyone and their neighbor got KU'd around that time

    Yes it seems so annoying because it isn't me .uugh I just get urked when they brag about oh my baby this, my baby that. But Owell I'll get over it my time will come

    Yup, same boat here. I know 10 pregnant girls and two that just gave birth within a week ago from today.

    Were having difficulty even starting TTC, there seems to always be a new obstacle to overcome. Meanwhile out of all of my friends only 1 isn't pregnant and doesn't have a LO.

    Agreed!! I am currently working with 4 people that are pregnant and 1 that just had her baby. One of my coworkers and I started TTC at the same time. I am so happy for them.....but so ready for it to be my turn!

    We said "I Do" Nov 2009  ~  Trying for our first Jan 2013 
    Me: 26 years old  ~  H: 29 years old   ~ Unexplained infertility ~ ALL WELCOME!!! ~
    IUI # 1: March 2014 - Clomid 100mg , BFP, EDD 12/10/2014,  MMC 8w5d, D&C 5/6/14  

    IUI # 2: August 2014 - Clomid 100mg, BFN
    September 5th: Consult with new RE--so happy we switched!!!

    October-CD 3 bw, fluid sonogram, testing for NK cells. Possibly moving to IVF depending on results........bloodwork showed low AMH, elevated natural killer cells, H SA showed mild male factor. Officially signed up for Dec IVF with intralipid infusions.

    Glad to know I'm not the only one out there!  I probably notice it so much more since we are TTC but it's everywhere I look and everyone I know!
