I am at a loss

For what to do with DD lately. She is almost 4 1/2 and is just so difficult around the house. She is mean, whiny, slams doors, gives me no privacy in the bathroom, won't pick up after herself, etc. And she does not care if she gets in trouble and dors not care if she loses her toys brcause she honestly has no real favorites besides her lovey and I tell her she will lose her dolls she yells that she will do whatever i asked and she is all pouty ehich is not how i want her to act at all and I really prefer natural concequences but what is a natural consequnce dor not talking nicely? I feel like I am screwing up with her.

Good luck!! Deep breaths!! You are doing a good job. :)

  • If DD doesn't speak nicely, I ignore her or say "that's not how you talk...when you can talk right, I will respond to you." That usually works.

When she is whiny I sometimes do the same thing, depending on what she is whining about.
