Call the doc?

B is sitting pretty well on his own but does get wobbly after a few minutes. Well about 20 minutes ago we were sitting on his carpet and I turned to get his toy and that fast he had fallen backwards and was screaming. Should I err on the side of caution and do a typical FTM pedi trip or just assume he scared himself and is probably fine? His pupils are equal and is consolable.

He's probably fine. Just keep an eye on him and if he seems off at all, call the doc. Alice topples over onto our carpet all the time. Occasionally she will clip a chair or plastic toy with the back of her head. It happens.

Yea thats pretty much what I figured. His doctor does have a nurses line that I may call when they reopen from lunch.

Probably fine. The general rule on falls is to get them checked out if they fall from a height higher than their own height. For instance, DD is 26 inches so a fall of about 2 feet could be worrisome,....in general of course.

FWIW, Alice just did this. She was chilling out on the floor, then just fell backwards. She cried for a minute, and now she's fine. Not even a bruise or bump.
