Those that are Pregnant

Because of your past with a preemie when people ask how much time you have left in your pregnancy do you go by 40 weeks or do you assume you will go early and any extra time is just bonus?

I am at 32.5 weeks right now and I had my son at 34.5 weeks.  So even though I technically have 7 weeks left I feel like I need to say I'm only 2 weeks away from when I had my son so it could be 2 weeks, or I could be late and it could be 2 months.

    When I was pg with C, I would say I have 10 weeks (if I was 30 weeks, but I was just hoping to make it to 33 weeks with her). And every day afterward was a bonus for sure.

    When talking to most people I go by 40 weeks and use my actual due date.  For friends/family I'll say I hope I've got X long.  Mentally preparing myself and for what needs to be done before baby?  I pretty much plan as though I'm going into

    2 years, 2 surgeries, 2 clomid fails, 2 IUIs, 1 loss, IVF #1 - 10/25/10 = BFP!, DS is now 3.5yrs!
    TTC #2 - 6/12 surgery #3, FET #1 & 1.2 = BFN, 12/2012 FET #2 = BFP! DD is 1.5 yrs!
    Surprise! 12/16/14 BFP, loss #2 12/31/14

    I can't wait for the "im getting a divorce" post in 5 years or so because your husbands were fed up with your disgusting chair asses from playing on the knot all day and getting fired 4-5 times for not doing any work. you guys are all winners!! ~ Laur929

    I am trying to really think positive so I am going by my due date-but I would be happy with anything after 37 weeks and no NICU time.

    I'm currently 20 weeks.  I will deliver no later than 38 weeks.  So I go by the 38 week mark.

    I'm 20 weeks and I say we are hoping this LO will come at the end of August. Most people know dd was 5 weeks early and spent time in the NICU.

    I always say exactly what the docs are telling me...that I am due July 11th but they think I will go at 37-38 weeks, so I have anywhere between 10 and 12 weeks left.
