Teething Poop?

Anyone notice a difference in their LOs poop while teething? My DS had blowouts three days in a row at daycare last week, and again this morning. Usually his poop is a good consistency, but this morning it really concerned me because is deemed watery and mucousy. I mentioned it to his teacher at daycare and asked if this is what it's been like, and she referred to it as "teething poop." I've never heard of it! Any similar experience or might we be looking at a different issue?

Side note: DS has obviously been teething for several weeks!

    Yes, we had runny, mucousy poop for about a week with teething. At first I thought that he had a virus, but he never had a fever, so I chalked it up to teething and a week later his tooth came through. Supposedly it's due to all of the extra saliva that t

    DD had it, but it was also started the night of her 6 month shots.  I don't know what the culprit was!

    DS also had teething poop for about a week before his bottom 2 teeth came through.  Horrible diaper blow-outs - I couldn't keep up with the laundry that week!
