Fun phrases

What fun things are your LO's starting to say? For months when Helen would do something herself I would exclaim "You did it!" but think nothing of it. Then, all of a sudden, last week she started saying "I did it!". Clear as day. First off, not sure where she got the "I" from, but it's hilarious. She first would say it when doing big things like stacking a block or turning something on (throwing arms up in the air optional). Now, however, she's graduated to saying it after every few self-fed bites of food or petting the dog, LOL It's like she cracks herself up just by saying it. My MIL said the other day she could hear her saying it everytime she turned on her play radio in the back seat (it only plays for like 15 seconds, so it was rather frequent). Too funny!

I DID IT! Yes

  • No phrases yet. We've been stuck in the mama and daddy phase for awhile. She just entered into her NO phase. Everything we ask her or say to her is answered with a NO.

  • This post makes me feel a ton better. DD says mama and dada, but not really to us. Everything right now is "Ba".

I thought we were having language delay issues! So glad to hear we are not too far behind!
  • The only phrase is "what's that" as she pointsand does it nonstop. Otherwise it's mama dada dog Ralph and duck:

  • That's so adorable! The closest LO comes to saying phrases are: Peekaboo, and Brown Bear.  Other than that I love when she says "Teddy" it's the cutest ever.

  • My LO has not even mastered mama. She says Dada, and knows the names of her dolls Sully, Dolly, Pinky. She is also well aware that our 70 lb catahoula is her Sissssyyyyy. She also quickly changed my Dad from Pops to Papa.
  • Grace says "DID IT!" too and it's so cute.  And "all done!"  which starts out AAAAAAAAAAALLLLLLLLLLLLLLLLL done. She's also fond of "What's that?" (sounds like "this that" and also "Uh oh" when she falls.  She started saying "tank too" f
