Me, I became a SAHM after DD#2 was born in June... I worked since I was 16 so it's definitely a whole new experience for me to SAH.
For those of you who work, what do you do for a living?
I worked in retail until I was 18 and then I started at a mortgage company where I worked for 8 years until I had DD#2.
For those of you who SAH, do you plan on going back to work some day? If so, when?
I plan on going back to work when DD#2 starts school, but I still have plenty of time to think and a lot can change during that time so we will see!

Re: Which of y'all SAH and who works?
I have a one year mat leave so I am at home for one year with each baby (if we have more) I go back in July. When I am all done with the mat leaves and having babies I might look into moving positions within my place of work. I have been doing the same

I definitely would NOT go back to the mortgage industry unless we w
I work PT but mostly from home. I am graduating this May, then I may be looking for a job.
I want to SAH, but we can't afford it now.
In a few short weeks, I will be a SAHM. I currently work in corporate finance. It will be a huge change for me, but I am looking forward to it.
I'm a crisis worker. I thought about staying home

I'm an RN on night shift, 12 hours shifts three days a week, though the days vary from week to week. It's nice in that DD only has to go to daycare once, maybe twice a week so I can sleep (if I work two days in a row) but I am a zombie most days

I do both. When I got pregnant, I was working full-time and our 4-year-old went to a babysitter 3 days/week and my mom babysat 2 days/week. When DS was born, we knew there was no way we could afford full or even part-time childcare for two kids. We cou
