Wahhhhh....whine....

It's DH's bday and I'm feeling like I'm kind of lame in the celebrating department.

I didn't order his gift early enough ahead of time, so only one item will be here today, the rest next week.  So I feel a little bad about that.

I asked him what he wanted to do - get a babysitter and go out, stay home and I'd cook, go to his parents' house today (instead of this weekend) - and he just wanted to go eat with his parents today.  Which is fine, but I feel a little bad like I'm not making any kind of effort myself.

Maybe I'll order out something yummy for lunch and pick it up on the way home from play group to surprise him.  He had class this morning, but should by home around noon.  FX that his gift shows up this morning we can have a little lunchtime celebration with the three of us!
