  I'm a photographer and I rarely get tipped... not that it isn't fab when i do!  but, i would just slide it in with the payment (assuming you are paying at the shoot).  Or if you wanted to wait you could always send it in the form of a gift card

  When I read this I felt bad because we did not tip our photographer the last time we had a shoot. I never even thought about it honestly, but it's a nice gesture, no different than tipping your hairstylist, I guess.

  I have never thought about tipping.  We are getting ours done in a couple of weeks.  I suppose I will check out the pics and decide then.

  Cycle 12~ 50 mg Clomid=BFP 9/9/11, Beta #1=280 & Beta #2=1513, 6w3d hb=122 bpm/ 8w2d hb=186 bpm/12w2d could not hear hb had a 3rd u/s and got to see the hb. 16w2d heard the hb! 156 bpm. A/S 1/3=girl

  If they are an independent photographer, a tip is not necessary as they set their own prices to reflect their profit or commission, KWIM?, and most don't expect one. however, I would probably give them a little something extra if you had a good experience

  We are getting ours taken on Saturday.  I didn't even think about a tip but now I think I will give her a gift card when I get my pictures.  She is a friend and I know she does awesome work.

  We've had pro pics done 3 times this year and I've never thought about tipping. I always write a note on their fb page.
