Pregnant after 35

No NT or other 1st tri testing for me

Not because I was opposed but because insurance doesn't cover it and it was crazy expensive.  I can meet with a geneticist on the 10th of May (their soonest appointment!) to discuss the posibility of the T21 test but I'll be almost 17 weeks at that time so I think I'll just wait for the annatomy scan two weeks later since the results wont even be back potentially before that.

So... here's to hoping for a healthy baby. :)

  • We've got military health insurance and it stinks. :(  I know that 35 isn't some magic age that all your eggs turn rancid and your babies are going to be at risk for something horrible.  They just make it sound that way. :)
