I am not sure why but I am not one of those people who requires a lot of liquids to feel hydrated. I have never followed the eight glasses of water a day rule, which to me seemed way too much for my needs.
Since being pregnant, I have been forcing myself to drink more water, though I am not getting the recommended amount.
I want to do the best for my baby but I also feel like babies have been born for generations without mothers drinking water around the clock.
What are your thoughts on this? Are you being extra careful with water intake? Do you find it makes a difference in how you feel?

I kind of agree. I don't think you need to force fluids until you are uncomfortable to reach an arbitrary water quota. But, water intake makes a big difference in how your body operates, especially while pregnant.
