Clomid and no ovulation...

i have done 2 months going on 3rd month(he has uped the dosage for this round) of clomid and its not getting me to ovulate...my dr says he wants to continue to do clomid until i ovulate.. at what point do i say clomid is not working for me and what options do i have if clomid doesnt make me ovulate?

Started Clomid January 2013
Last Clomid dose 150mg April
No Ovulation on Clomid
Ultrasound in a week then going to try letrozole

    Are you seeing an RE or an OB? Have you had mid-cycle ultrasounds or is he just handing you a prescription for Clomid? Have you had an HSG/partner had an SA?

    What dose and how many months? I was unresponsive to 50 then100 then 150 with ob the switched to RE and injectibles did the trick!

    she might put you on both clomid and metformin.. talk to her. i am switching my obgyn

    im using an OB. i have to use progersterone everymonth to start a new cycle because my extreamly random periods ( i can go 6 months with out having one) then on day 5-9 i take clomid and then he has me wait till my cycle is at aprox 30 days, i do

    my ob says we first need to get me to ovulate before the HSG and husband has yet to do a SA(its a man thing

    My Blog

    September 2012: Start IF testing

    DH (32): SA is ok, slightly low morph, normal SCSA  Me (32): Slightly low progesterone, hostile CM, carrier for CF, Moderately high NKC, High TNFa, heterozyogous mutated Factor XIII, and +APA

    October 2012-May 2014: 4 failed IUIs, 3 failed IVFs, and 1 failed FETw/donor embryos

    November 2014: IVF w/ICSI #4 Agonist/Antagonist with EPP and Prednisone, Baby Aspirin, Lovenox, and IVIG for immune issues.  Converted to freeze all due to lining issues.  2 blasts frozen on day 6!

    January 2015: FET #2 Cancelled due to lining issues

    April 2015: FET #2.1

    it sounds like a lot of dr do this with out doing all the ultrasounds and monotering. how can doctors get away with it if its such a serious risk?

    are these risks very rare? (which may be why drs dont do all the ultrasounds)
