Bedhead

Lately Augie's been having some major bedhead in the mornings. How do you tame bedhead before sending them off to daycare? Do I spray with water? Buy some sort of kid's spray for this purpose? Anyone else do their child's hair in the morning?

Re: Bedhead

  • I run C's brush under water and brush.  I rewet the brush as needed.

  • I'll try a little bit of water and a comb, but that only helps a little. She'll just have messy hair on those days.

  • same! I have found that not washing his hair every night is helping. if its still bad, he wears a baseball cap and we are out the door! a haircut is definitely in order for us, too.

  • L's hair is pretty curly, so I usually get a wet washcloth and use that to "scrunch" the curls if it's looking crazy.  I will slick down pieces that stick up on the top and smooth her bangs out of her face with a clip.  If all else fails, her ha

  • Justin wets his hair down (just gets his hands wet and rubs his hair) and "styles" it.  Sometimes it works, sometimes it doesn't lol.

  • I use my detangling comb on T's hair - no water and no product.  It's been helping that I comb it out at night when she gets out of the bath, but we usually still have to do it again in the morning.
