A Day with Thomas the Train

Has anyone done this? I see it is coming to my area in September. DS will be 3 in November and loves all things Thomas, trains, etc. 

If you went, how was it? (honestly!)

 

Also, if you did The Polar Express train ride around the holidays, how did you like that?

    We did Polar Express and thought it was nice.  It was a little long for my then 2 year old but got lots of great pictures and we enjoyed it.

    Thomas is coming here in May/June and I can't wait to take DS!  Everyone I know who's done it really enjoyed it, but this will be our first visit so I can't speak from personal experience yet!

    We did it last summer.  It was a zoo!  I thought it was pretty cheesy - but I'm an adult and hate character stuff ;)  To be honest, Callum didn't seem super impressed.  We went when it was at the train museum near us and he was more in

    It's not terribly expensive. I was expecting $60-75 a ticket, but at $20 a ticket, I think I can swallow that if it turns out to not be terribly fun ;)

    we went this year and my girls loved it.  We got great pictures and the girls still talk about it.  I thought it was really well done.

    This is coming in April and we are taking DS.  We took a mini train ride at the local zoo a week ago and DS loved it.   He sat still the entire time.  I am hoping this also happens with the 25 minute ride.

    We took DS last year as we are taking him this year as well. We booked the very first ride. It isn't too crowded in the morning. It was well organized. We had a great time.

    We just did this and my son loved it.  He loves trains though.  It was pretty packed, but worth it.  They had the train ride, petting zoo, big sand pit, tattoo station, bubbles and fun things for little ones to do.  The ride was pretty
