HELP-sleep issues

I don't  know what is wrong all of a sudden with my 28 month old.  She was such a good sleeper.  I put her to bed...she'd go right to sleep...

This past week she is scared of everything.  Her nightlight was casting a shadow on her ceiling....she freaked out.  We turn it off. She freaks out.  Just keeps crying she's scared, she's scared.  I don't know if she's having nightmares or what.

DH slept on the floor in her room last night.  Got about 2 hrs of sleep. She kept waking up constantly saying she was scared.

Any advice...how to handle this and get it better.  We are one tired family today.  I don't know how DH is going to function at work :(

 Please help!

  • Is she in a crib or a bed? If she's still in the crib, it may be time to move to a big girl bed.

DD went through this at about that age and was even freaked when I told her that God was always watching over her.
