3 months stats

Yesterday S had her 3m check up, everything looks great even if her pedi said she's a bit chunky because she's in the 60% and to "watch how much she eats".. weirdo!

Here are her stats:

Height: 23,6 in (65%)

Weight: 12,6 lb (60%)

Head C: 15,5 in

That's super weird to say! 60% isn't even all that big!

ETA DD went to the doctor at 3.5 months and was 12 lbs 4 oz and that put her at about 30%

Oh, and Amelia was 12lb, 1oz at her 2 month appointment! lol

I weighed DS last night and he was 13 lbs 8 oz at 16 weeks. He's starting to become quite the chunker but after him having so much trouble gaining weight in the beginning I'm ok with it. I'll be interested to see what the pedi says at his 4 mo

We didn't have a 3 month appointment but a few weeks ago he weighed 14lbs 14oz!

His four month wellness is a week from today! OMG!

I agree... that's weird. DS was 13lbs. 12oz. at his 3 month checkup, talk about a chunky monkey lol, but doc said it was fine.

I wouldn't be worried about 60% for weight personally. My LO was 13lbs at her 2month apt. We don't have a 3 month, but would be curious to see how much she is weighing now. Might have to get DH on the scale with her. If I had to gu

OP, that's weird that they said that. I would seriously ignore the whole "watch how h she eats" thing...

We won't have a 3mo, but DD's 2mo stats were as follows:

Height: 25in, 99th %

Weight: 14# 2oz, 92nd %

Head: don't remember

At 11weeks 3 days DD was 16lbs 6oz off the charts and 25.4 inches long also off the charts and her head was 43cm around.

I weighed myself and LO and then just myself and there was a 15 lb weight difference. No 3 month appointment.

Here in Italy we do 1, 3, 6, 9 and 12 mo check ups; I'm pretty sure our charts are different than the ones used in the US, but still, our pedi is definitely weird!

I would ignore the pedi as well! We don't have a 3 month apt but our hospital and the early childhood department in our community ha an amazing newborn clinic that is free for all parents in our county to go and have their newborn weighed each week on Tue

We didn't have a 3 month appointment but I weighed and measured him for his Baby's First Year Calendar and he came in as 24in long and 13lbs 8ozs! So close to doubling his birth weight!!! o_0

Wow, my DD was just seen today for poss reflux and weighs 14lbs 1oz and she's 11wks. She's gained 1lb 1oz since the 1st of April. Her dr just said she's doing great.
