I thought about trying it with mashed sweet potatoes. I think a few drops of coloring in yogurt would be fine. Certainly much healthier than taking a taste of the store bought finger paints!

I guess I'll go for odd man out. I don't think it's dangerous in the least but I never did it. I actually prefer that they do take finger dips of the Crayola Wonder or some other finger paint that tastes like soap. We do a LOT of kiddie
