DS has tons of toys he used to scatter all over the place. We moved into a bigger house a month ago, and I've noticed he's not playing with his actual toys unless we play with them too. He prefers to sit with us and play with cell phones and game controllers. He may be going through a clingy phase after the move, but I'm concerned because he used to play independently. I'd hate for him to lose that.
Has anyone else had this happen? Anything I can do to encourage him to play without me showing him how?
Maybe try putting him in a play yard with a bunch of toys and walk away for a few minutes at a time to see how he reacts? We recently put DS's activity table in ours and that has helped him stay in there longer w/o fussing so maybe you'll have some succes
