Trying to Get Pregnant

PMS stopped no period

I had PMS symptoms, mostly breast tenderness and mild cramping for a few days and it just kinda stopped. I'm only 1 day late but have irregular cycles. I'm pretty sure I O'd. We've been trying for a while and I always get my period after I take a test. Has anyone else experienced this?

Take a pregnancy test. If it's positive, you're pregnant. If it's negative, you're not.

Because I am unusually helpful lately (weird, must be the weather change), I will help you out.

This board gets posts like this all the time 'fishing' for the "Yup, you are totally pregnant".

Posters can't tell you whether you are pregnant or not.  I believe that you yourself said that you don't want to POAS because that usually means your period will come.  (Seems like that always happens, huh?)   Just take a test, poas (if it is positive, I wouldn't recommend coming back here to post your BFP--- just move along to first tri as you will be considered a drive by BFP and flamed again).

However, if it is negative, come back, read, learn, ask intelligent questions, and you will be well received by posters.     Good luck.

Whenever you join a new community, it's always best to lurk a little first. Stick around a few days and you'll steer to understand why the ladies here react pretty negatively. A halfdozen of these questions every day gets old really fast.

Read the newbie link that Cole provided you, and check out the 2WW thread. When you're in between O and your period, post there with any questions/vents/whatever. It's posted everyday.

    Good luck.

No one is bullying you, many ladies provided helpful information and suggestions. You're comment is completely uncalled for. We took the time to reply and try to help. Next time put your big girl panties on and take the positive information provided instead of getting defensive. The journey of getting pregnant for some will be hard - I would never wish this on anyone and I sincerely wish this does not happen to you. Without the support of the ladies of this board I would be completely ignorant and my regret is not finding this forum sooner. TB is not for everyone.

  • You should POAS to be sure of what's going on, but this did happen to me when I was KU 4.5 years ago.  I had all of my usual PMS symptoms but my period never came.  I got to the day I was supposed to get AF and realized I had no symptoms anymore whatsoever.  I waited until I was a week late to take a test and guess what?  KU!

  • Oy.

OP, my last cycle was like that. In the end I had o'd later in my cycle and therefore I got AF later than usual, almost a week. I had pms symptoms stop for a few days then pick up again the day I got my period. Pms and early pregnancy symptoms are very similar.

Don't take it to heart, this is a sensitive board as evidenced by its name. TTC can get a very long an emotional journey and TB is not for the faint of heart. You will find no rainbows here.

  • I'm going through that too. But I had mirena out last mo and a week ago I started having pms symptoms today they seemed to stop. My nipples have dark rings around the areola. if my period was the bleeding after mirena was out then I should expect my period sometime next week! Scared to take a test don't Want to get let down and it could be too early. But good luck

Sounds like a lot of work to do just to post a question on a message board. Plus if no one ever asked these questions then when would the ladies get a chance to unleash the snark? They would just be walking around with a lot of pent up snark waiting for the next innocent victim.
