DH is allergic to peanuts. When he was a child he was very allergic and ended up in the hospital with a terrible asthma attack after eating peanut butter candy. Both his asthma and his peanut allergy are much better as an adult, but because the allergy runs in our family I was told to not give peanuts to LO until she was 2 or 3.
So, now she's almost 2. Should I just give her a piece of bread with peanut butter on it and see what happens? She's not allergic to anything else and she doesn't seem to have asthma.
Has anyone else done this? It makes me nervous! I don't even keep peanut products in our house.

Re: anyone else w peanut allergies in your family?
I'm not for sure how I would handle this. I was very careful with DS because I am just a worrier. I didnt give him peanut butter until he was 16 months and we have no history of peanut allergies in our family.
If you do decide to give it I
