Moms who were team green

Mobile: Moms who were team green

What made you decide to stay team green?

Was it hard to plan?

Was the feeling of hearing the dr/DH say "It's a ____" worth the wait?

DH and I have been discussing wether we should try it this time and I'm definitely not sure if I have the patience/willpower not to know. But I think it would be amazing to hear my husband announce what the little bean is at birth.

  • Oh and as for whether or not it was hard to plan, no not at all. I mean, it would have been nice to have been able to do a full out girly girl nursery and buy fancy clothes but in the end it really didn't matter. And I felt that at my shower I got a lot o

  • There are so few things in life that you REALLY have to wait any time to find out, I loved waiting to find out the gender of both my babies.  It was amazing both times.

I did also love that it drove certain other people crazy that we didn't

  • Babybmom made a good point I had forgotten about. I can remember several times during labor that the thought and excitement of knowing we would find out what our child  was really soon took me out of my own head. It was made for a good thing to fo

  • We just really wanted to be surprised so that is why we opted to stay green.

It wasn't hard to plan.  The nursery, clothes etc purchased in advance were all neutral and since N was born we added some pink and purple.  I love her pale gr
