An end to constant holding?

So my LC warned me at my last visit that LO was going to go through a phase of not tolerating being set down at all and to get a carrier. We have a baby.bjorn but LO doesn't fit in it very well with me. Works great for DH who isn't the one at home all day. Therefore I have been holding and bouncing LO constantly for days now other than for his overnight naps. When did this start to settle out for you guys? I need arm transplants.

eta: LO is now 5 weeks

H is 6 weeks and it only lasted about a week. He was very difficult to put down, and he's usually such a laid back little guy. This week he is back to normal, even back to putting himself to sleep whether I put him down drowsy or wide awake. I know it's o

As far as carriers go I used the K'tan a lot until he was about 4 months old and then used the Ergo.
