POST BIRTH - Did Your Skin/Hair Type Change???

DD is 19 months and I would have thought that my skin and hair would be back to normal by now... I used to have very dry skin and hair, never oily, never any dandruff. Same during pregnancy. But after giving birth I now have oily skin and oily hair, and frequent dandruff issues! Could my hormones have changed so much that now my body is producing more oil?

I struggled with acne before having DS. My skin looks better. My hair does get oily. I use dry shampoo to get an extra day between washings.

Are you still breastfeeding? Because if so your hormones could still be out of wack.

I didn't have any hair changes, but my skin cleared up like woah while pregnant. And it lasted allllll the way till 13 months when I got my first bla

I still have issues and my DD will be 6 in May but I also have Lupus, IF issues and bad hormone fluctuation. I would talk to the doctor and see if you can get any answers. Good luck!

My hair is incredibly oily since having DS. I can wash it and style it in the morning and by night time it is a grease ball
