We finally got to see the urologist again today. Haven't seen her since November! It went fairly well. She was concerned that the morph had dropped to 1% from 3% but she was also hopeful that it could have been a fluke. We will know for sure when we see if it that low at my next IUI.
She also confirmed what I feared, that clomid is really the only medication he can try because he only has slightly low T and no infections or varicocele. It is helping but we've really only seen slight improvement in count. Highest count now being 13M before the wash. The low morph cut that number way down when they did the wash for IUI #1.
Then thankfully she talked to my DH about getting more exercise, sleep, and trying to decrease stress. This really needed to be said, but it is a delicate subject so its hard for me to encourage him with this. He is not overweight, but doesn't really exercise. The man works crazy hours as an attorney, and even when he is home his phone is buzzing with emails 24/7. I know he is not getting enough quality sleep yet he always wants to unwind some when he is finally done working. That usually means he stays up pretty late. I can't blame him for wanting some free time, I just hate that this is probably a contributing factor to our MFI. I think it really sank in today when he heard it from the urologist. He even had bags under his eyes today for crying our loud! Poor guy.
Does anyone have any suggestions for ways I can encourage him without sounding like the "advice" we all hate to hear? (try not to be too stressed) The last thing I want to do is make him feel worse about this than he already does, but I also know it really is something we should try to improve even if just for his overall health.
Re: Back from the Urologist
I struggle with this too b/c my husband is overweight so I worry about him, but done want to hurt his feelings. I am overweight too, so I usually frame it like will you try to be healthier to support me or walk with me so I wont back out of doing

My husband has a very physical job as a biologist , but it is stressful and he does the same thing where he ends up coming home late and staying up late. It is hard for him to relax, even on the weekends. I don't worry so much about his fit
