Has anyone ever had hives that didn't go away with benedryl? LO is having hives and lots of redness on his hands and feet. I originally thought it was allergy related but now I'm worry might be something else. Thoughts?

DD had an allergic reaction to a medication and her hives did not go away with benadryl/zyrtec for about 4 days. Her tongue swelled too, but that improved with the benadryl.

have you spoken to your LO's doctor or a dermotolagist? Has she been tested for allergies? perhaps try doing a limitation diet

Hives can also be caused by a virus.
