Starting to worry...possibly for nothing....

Ok, so I have been reading posts about others LO's and how they never want to be put down or have to be rocked to bed every night so they can fall asleep.  My LO can literally fall asleep on her own.  I put her in the bassinett, crawl into bed and fall asleep without a peep from her.  I don't have to carry her everywhere, she is content sitting in her bouncy while I putter around the house.  She never cries unless she is hungry and will immediately go back to bed as soon as her belly is full.  She never fusses in the bath tub either....which I thought alot of babies didn't like baths.

I am starting to worry here.....is this normal???  Or do we have an easy/content baby?  Is she too independent and doesn't need her mommy or daddy to make her feel content? 

Does anyone else have a baby like this?

    I'm on my phone so i can't see how old your baby is. But mine did that from day one. It's great! And he's still a laid back happy baby who can fall asleep on his own most nights. Think it's normal!

    Baby N conceived after 1 miscarriage and more than 2 years of TTC. Diagnosis was low sperm count. We found success after 3 months of anastrozole to increase DH's testosterone and one IUI.

    H is the same way. From day one he's fallen asleep on his own, even if he's been awake for a while. He just recently started fussing a little but overall he's still laid back and content.

    I think it all just depends on the baby.  MIL said that DH didn't like being held as a baby but was happy as could be otherwise.  My kids always loved their baths and for the most part didn't have to be held a lot during the day - which maybe

    About me  2007: Started TTC. 2008: OB prescribed clomid, went to RE and was Dx with PCOS. 2009: IUI #1 w/follitsim and trigger = BFP. B/G Twins born at 33 weeks. 2012: TTC #3, Round 2 of Letrozole w/TI = BFP, missed m/c at 8 1/2 wks. Currently on the bench as we make plans for a new home. Anxious to start TTC #3 within the next year!

    My Baby A is just like that. He is so chill. We have to rock him to sleep once every month or so and it has been that way since six weeks. He is happy as can be during playtime and is delighted to just look around and have little "conversations" with us.

    I am only two and a half weeks in, but so far what you wrote describes my daughter to a tee!

    totally hoping it stays this way :)

    My DS is pretty chill too.  He loves taking a bath and I can put him down in his crib at night and he will fall asleep most nights on his own.  He is fine if you hold him or if he is in his swing/bouncer seat.

    I think a lot of it is an age thing.  My guy is easy to put down at night and loves baths and was usually a pretty happy baby (after we sorted out the GERD issues), but lately he wants to be entertained 24/7 and gets pissed if you aren't entertaining

    2011: FSH 13.3 & E 99; AMH 0.54 2nd FSH 6.2 E 40's AFC: 8
    BFP from Clomid/IUI ~ Pre-e and IUGR during pregnancy ~ DS born 9/4/12
    Feb./March 2013: AMH less than 0.16 (undectable) and AFC = 4;
    BFP from supps ~ DS#2 due May 2014
